Appendix C - Site Details Name Choose the site name so that you can easily identify it in a list of all your sites. Description This is an optional field where any information and notes you consider useful may be entered. Region Choose the appropriate region from the drop-down list. If there is no obvious choice, select the region that is likely to have the most similar year round temperatures to your site. Street Address The physical location address of the site is required and not a PO Box or Private Bag. Heat Plant Tick this box if the site has a separate heat plant that supplies more than one facility on the site. Start Date Approximate date on which the site was first opened, if known. There is a default of 1-Jan- 1900 if left blank. Close Date Note: Be sure that you actually want to close the Site and not just a Facility, Entity or even just a Record, because the Close Date will be propagated down to all Meters and to all Facilities and subsequent details located there. If the site is closed or sold, or for some other reason will no longer have information coming into e-Bench, then tick the Close Site button. On then clicking the Save Changes link, boxes appear for the Close Date to be entered.
