Appendix F - Facility Details Name Choose a name that will allow you to easily differentiate this facility from others on the Site (e.g. building name). Description This is an optional field where any information and notes you consider useful may be entered. Type Please choose from the drop-down list the Type that best describes the main use of this facility. If none of the options seems appropriate, select Other and contact ETS for advice and possible action to modify a definition or the list. The options are the same as those listed in Appendix J - Entity Purposes although this higher sub-divisional level may include more varied activities requiring a compromise choice based on the predominant one. Open Date Enter the date the facility was opened for its current use. Date Built Enter the date the facility was built. This may well be different from the Open Date above. Close Date If the facility is closed or sold, or for some other reason will permanently no longer have information coming into e-Bench, then tick the box between the headings Close Date and Close Facility. On then clicking the Save Changes link, boxes appear for the Close Date to be entered. All Entity and Attributes data will be lost so it is important not to close a Facility if it is to continue to operate, but with a different mix of Entities which may also have some modified Attributes or Utilisation levels. (The last two situations are best handled by starting a new Record of either Utilisation or Construction Attributes which then rolls over the existing data that can then be further modified as required.)
